Walk around in Gouda
We traveled to Gouda where we wished to visit once. It is a good destination for a day trip because it takes an hour on the train from Den Haag. There are city hall, museums and other tourist attractions in a pretty little town.
Gouda is well known town as Gouda cheese throughout the world. There are many cheese stores where has the variety of cheeses. It is held at the Cheese Market every Thursday, in the spring. We couldn’t see it this time, but we did visit the Gouda Cheese Experience, a gift shop next to the museum. We bought 750 Gouda cheese and a cheese slicers.

The major cities of the Netherlands are attractive, but we prefer the small town to enjoy a more local ambience.
